I know this is probably a really dumb question, but here goes----

Now that I am using xfire, how do I get the profile to show up in my posts. I have tried to add it to my settingd about 6 times using both the recommended html and bb code formats listed on the crossfire site, but so far the best I have done is to add a link to it that doesn't display until I click on it.

I use

Code:

[url=http://profile.xfire.com/rroff][img]http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/bg/type/1/rroff.png[/img][/url]

obviously change where it says rroff to your x-fire username, also the code box seems to have put some spaces into the urls for some reason.

My xfire seems to not pickup on when I play quake 3 any more for some reason :( it shows me playing quake 3 beside my name but doesn't update my stats for the amount of time I've been playing quake 3.

In X-Fire go to your Xfire menu and click on My Profile. That will bring up your default browser to your X-Fire profile page (if you are logged in).

At the top of your profile page is a link, " Miniprofile: Find out how to embed your miniprofile in any web page". follow that link and cut and paste the UBB or HTML code that the site requires for your signature.

It's the connectivity for X-Box 360, gold cost $50 a year +1 month so 13 months.

That's where I play COD2 online.

It's a shame that you can play across platforms on a specific game, like X-box to pc. It would be interesting to see what that type of capability would do to the market.

They really should figure out a way to do cross platform gaming. That would really liven things up a lot. I can imagine tournaments pitting X-Box, Playstation, and PC gamers against each other.
