Well, since no one responded to my post yet, I went ahead and bought it.

The Game of the Year edition of this game comes with all of the downloadable content, and is the best deal by far, opposed to buying everything separately.

There are mixed reviews of this game, with some people hating it, and others giving it a ten. Not much in between. I guess you will either love it or hate it.

The art in it is cartoonish, but not quite as much as Team Fortress 2. One of the major complaints was that a Gamespy account was required to play it. I haven't tried the multiplayer yet, but when I first started the game, no reference was made to establishing a Gamespy account. Maybe the developers fixed that in the later release.

Another complaint was that the game obviously was a poor console port, and that there were not enough options to set the graphics to optimize it for PC. It looks like they may have corrected this problem also in this release. The only problem I have found with that so far is the aspect ratio not being able to be set. However, I think I saw a reference to a tweak that was available in the config that would take care of that if you really wanted to play with it. I was able to set everything to high, and the graphics look really good so far.

I only had the time to play it for about 15 minutes, but what I have seen so far looks interesting.

I think it is well worth it for less than 8 dollars so far.

I bought the console version of the game when it was first released, it seemed like a cool concept and I liked the art, but I just didnt like the game. I returned it the same day. As for deals, direct2drive had some great ones the day you posted about this deal, I forgot to post about them though. I check both sites regularly for great deals and will purchase from either of them depending on the best deal.

Tried very hard to like the game. Didn't work out. Uninstalled.
