Hi!

I need help making a grenade shooter/trap......person hits the trigger and grenades are fired on him.

btw, I can only see my 64 grid size...........no other grids will come up and my snap to grid setting can NOT be turned off.

I noticed there was a sticky thread on resources but nothing on Q4. As there is NO help section (nothing comes up when i click on mine) for the editor, you got any links or files I can get on the q4 editor?

any help in these regards would be greatly appreciated!

http://www.iddevnet.com/quake4/ - that's Q4SDK
http://zerowing.idsoftware.com/
http://map-center.com/
and, of course, http://qeradiant.com/

grid can be changed with numbers 1-9
or Ctrl+] Ctrl+[

I haven't made a shooter in Q4, so can't help you there.

I remember reading about grid display problems that ended up being driver issues with certain ATI cards. did you try changing the color scheme?

You sure you want to turn off snap to grid? Its generally a "good idea" to stay ON the grid.

thanks for the reminders on what controls the grid (I'm at work right now so can't verify that it works ... for as hex mentioned the vid driver problem...i recently changed vid cards...prior to the change i had the other grids........so that's a good possibility)

as far as turning off snap to grid? there are definitely times when you need to turn it off to get something back on track... i dont have it off all of the time but do need it off SOME of the time.

thanks for the feedback guys.
