Post subject:  New Window Popup for flash/.swf files

I wanted to post a banner on a page with an embedded flash/.swf file and wanted the visitor to click on said banner and have it open a new window while redirecting to website. Because the file is .swf and not a .gif i am having problems getting this to work. to clarify, here is the code i am working with. replace { and } with < and >

{embed src="http://kunninmindz.com/images/banners/km.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="468" height="60"}{/embed}

hopefully the answer isnt javascript-related :(

thx in advance :)

Don't think you can embed it in these boards.

ok, here's a better way of explaining it.. see example below.

the boards/forums here default to having links/banners open in new windows; webpages don't. The command for this is target=_"blank" which works for .jpg and in this case, .gif images. I want the same action in webpages with a .swf file.
**if these boards supported HTML, you could see the above code in working action. If you want to see the above code working ---> http://www.myspace.com/xlividx
