Just finish off the first basic training session and OH SWEET LORD the gameplay is SUPER SMOOTH! The RAILGUN is to die for! LOVE it! So exciting! This game will rock the socks of everyone when it's out of beta!

Without question, the gameplay is great. Unfortunately, that's all I care for :o

Random thoughts:

The match making system without a server browser option is total trash. It takes too long to find and get a match going. There is zero community feel to the game. Every game is a handful of random trash players like myself getting schooled by some pro-level Twitch streamer. The skill floor is too high to be remotely competitive. I don't even know how they call that 'match making'. All it's doing is throwing you in with the first group of players it finds.

At the end of a map, the entire group of players is disbanded and then you need to start all over again. You can't even develop that map to map competitiveness with another player anymore. I don't know on what world this is considered a good system.

Then again, this might be the same genius team that put all of their development eggs into DOOM multiplayer and not 1 egg into campaign content basket? Questionable decision making to say the least.

I'm getting older obviously. I can care less for the lootboxes, cosmetic crap, rune...wtf-ever reliquary system they have going on, lol. I got like 3 menus deep and gave up trying to figure it out, haha.

It doesn't seem to be doing too well. Waiting 2 minutes to get matched up with 6 players during prime playing hours on the east coast.

It's also missing too many pieces.

No dedicated servers.
No 3rd party modding/maps. No CTF, RA or instagib, etc.
No server browser.

Lol @ getting schooled. Yes lol. Depends on what time I’m in of course. Match end eith r in -2 frags or 15 frags.

But yes. I need:
Server browser.
Modding
Dedicated servers

Funny though, one recognizes certain players and we’ve even started to type “lol” or “nice” in game. Ibe jump s up on top of a pillar near the quad in Blood Covenant and we just stood under and watched. He was like OMG DIDN’T KNOW ONE COULD DO THAT “!

1200 shards and I've only got 200 so far. Saving them for this baby.

Yes. It's the Quake 2 rocket launcher skin.
edit: made the screenshot a bit smaller, and did it in paint so it's looking really crappy.
