Anyone else anticipating this game? The graphics look insane, and the wide open nature of the game is awesome. I never finished Oblivion, but this game looks too good to pass up. The crafting system looks good too, almost as good as a good MMO system. Day one purchase for me on 11.11.11. :)

My son is, he's 16 now and has played and finished Morrowind, Oblivion, FallOut, and Fallout New Vegas. He's a huge fan of Bethesda games

I'll probably get it even though I never finished Oblivion either. Never understood the "leveling" system when everything just levels around you. You could be level 50, save the world, but the guards in the city are still kicking your ass. Never made sense to me :D Maybe they should have closed the portals and let me sleep.

the leveling system is not going to be the same in Skyrim. Oblivion was messed up, as you leveled, so did all of the mobs around you. In Skyrim, there will be locations you cant go until you are high enough level. Should be much more conventional in that regard. I do like that there will be no set "classes" to choose from, your characters class will be determined by how you choose to use him.

i have 2 pre-orders for Skyrim, one of them is a limited edition. i have always loved the elder scrolls series, i just wonder if Bethesda made it so the surface world wasn't instanced, and just have rooms and dungeons instanced. I'm pretty excited for the game though, just think this is the next generation of the Bethesda game engines and this one from the looks of it is one of the most graphically intense engine i have seen from Bethesda. i can just imagine the next Fallout game running on this engine.

I still havent picked it up yet, but direct2drive has 20% off any purchase today, seems like the day to make the move. I dunno if my system can handle it though...lol, I just meet the minimum specs.

Depends on what you would normally spend that 12 bucks on.
I bought Portal 2 and Duke Nukem at 50pct off and can't even play them on my rig, lol. Just wait, though...
