Couldn't pass up Fallout3 for $10. Good prices on a lot of games, unfortunately a lot of them don't interest me much.

I liked it but didn't get that sucked into it. Also just acquired New Vegas because it was a good deal on a used copy.

It's pretty cool. The more I learn how to play it, the more interesting it gets. There isn't much in the way of tutorials for the systems. Just figured out the VATS system which adds a whole new layer to the combat. Only big gripe I have is the color scheme. I get the whole wasteland theme, but everything is grey(ish) and blends together. Feels really washed out during the night time hours. Granted I've only been playing it for a couple of hours or so.

Shotgun + head-shots with the VATS system is pretty satisfying. I could just do that all day :o Had a great time wasting bandits in the elementary school. Moved on to another town where some giant fire ants cooked me for dinner.

Steam and Direct2Drive have been killing me this summer...been spending all kinds of money on games, but I don't think I've played one yet! lol
