I lost Sumoldude's cell number. Trying to make contact for summit ski trip. Hex too. A dozen guys from my hometown in Chicago are heading up there for the week. I am heading up but only taking Thur-Fri off.

Schiz is still MIA I believe..as far as COLO is concerned perhaps otherwise as well :)

Hey I nearly froze my face off at 13,000 feet near the continental divide in basically blizzard conditions. However it was further proof the 2010 stroke is looooong gone. I had a 2 hour MRI/MRV Jan 2 that said the Sagittal Sinus Thrombosis was 'Completely Resolved' but the TRUE test was leading the charge into the mogul fields all day long last Thursday - I felt like I was 18 years old again! Woot !

I am up for a spring ( spelled SUNSHINE ) ski trip some weekend if you guys are.

I have a very good friend of mine that is just now moving to Breckenridge....for medicinal purposes. Those of you from there I think will know where I am coming from. He is a true Flroida guy,and is having a hard time adjusting to the climate and lack of humidity there.

Sux,I am kinda losing a good friend, but he has given me an open invite to come out there anytime I want,he even offered to pay my way,and let me have full run of his crib and vehicles. So,I may be getting to meet some of you very soon.

I'll keep you posted and give enough notice so we can schedule gatherings.....

It is dry. Swamp cooler = good. Although in Breck, you could only use the swamp cooler probably 4 months out of the year. Whole house humidifier..

That would be awesome to finally meet you after all these years. We're not too far from Breck. Maybe an hour.
Better hurry up and get here cause we're trying to get our asses back to the Gulf Coast.
Tired of living in this dam state with only two seasons. Winter/Summer. Six months of shitty weather every year has just
plain gotten to me after four years of being here.

BWAAAHAAAHAHA!!

A Navy buddy of mine who grew up in Alabama roomed with me for a short stint in Denver. He also turned tail and ran south after the first cold snap. I'm not gonna try to change anybody's mind. Colorado really is a crappy place to live. Everybody should just stay where they are and not even visit. With temperatures ranging anywhere from 100 to 10 (in July) and 80 to -60 (in Feb) who could stand it? "If you don't like the weather, stick around for a day" doesn't work for everyone...

Terrible, really it is. Just awful and miserable. Tell all your friends.

Hex, dont get me wrong about the weather. We've actually acclimated pretty well after the first year.
Colorado is indeed a great place to visit. Absolutely freaking gorgeous in the Summer.
We're just folks that like to be able to garden and work around the house by February and through out
October like our friends and family back home are doing now. Starting to plant flowers and stuff here
in June is just so odd and by September having to haul everything in or tossing it is just a little
short seasoned for us. We're Coastal folk and just like having more time to spend out doors is all.

Blade my dude, we sure do need to throw down some grilling. I dont forsee us leaving anytime really soon so I am
sure we'll have through out the Summer to hang out. Your deck holding out and attached to the house still?
LOL joking man. Talk soon.
