OK, so I finally got to see this thing. All I have to say is "holy shit", what a great filick. I'm no movie critic, but that's my quote. "Holy shit, what a great movie" :D

Too bad Spielberg and Bay couldn't team up for the last 3 Star Wars movies, cause this basically had everything those movies were missing. Very smart and surprisingly very funny movie with an awesome cast of characters. Even the robots were cool :D This movie had a pretty big cast, but every single role seemed to stand out. They didn't beat the 'love interest' thing to death either, like most movies these days. The special effects in the trailers don't even come close to doing the movie justice. IMO, this movie is the king of SFX at the moment.

Yeah, I saw it in theaters and thought it was freaking awesome. <-- theres my movie quote btw.

Great movie, if you haven't seen it, you should. One of the best action flicks of recent memory.

I thought it was a great movie in its own right - but aside from bumblebee the rest of the transformers were all generic robots hard to tell the good ones from the bad if they'd worked on the characterisation for them a bit better it would have been a lot better movie.

My wife and I took our grandson to see it at the Channelside IMAX in Tampa.

Seeing it on a 5 story screen with 12,000 watts of surround sound coming from behind the screen, and all around the theater was without a doubt the ultimate film experience!

We all thought it was a great flick, and the IMAX just made it 100 times better!

Hah guess that beats my 100" HD and 2000 watts of surround sound :D - novelty still hasn't worn off tho.

Yeah, a lot of 'Pew Pew" laser beams in it :D Waiting for my X-mas bonus, so I can pick up a nice surround system for my living room.
