hehehe...bet you were not expecting this one, right??

Anyway, hope you guys like it, because this one is staying for a long, long time. NECROSIS and I worked very hard on this, so we'll let everyone get used to it for awhile before we even consider any changes. (minus the few tidbits we still need to work on to truely finalize this design)

So, whatcha think?!?!? Best yet?..EVER? Yah, I think so too :)

Hey Tex, can you point out the misalignments for me? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

I like the personalized Welcome Box at the top of the page, and it's links to the forum, and the color scheme is a bit more vibrant. The last one was nice but almost had a Quake 2 feel to it with the colors used. This one has more depth to it.

I also see that the whole "points for posting" thing is still here... I don't hate it, I'm just not a big fan of it.

That being said, I thing you two did a fantastic job and I appreciate the effort!

Yeah, the point for posting could prove to be a bit flawed, ie rewarding based on the assumption that every post is a positive contribution to the site, when we all know a post can be the opposite - detrimental in the case of spam/flaming. But I like the idea behind it, adds a reward/spending - ie gaming - layer to the site exoerience.
I'm mulling on some ideas about this kind of stuff that I'll post at some point.

dmschaos, could you tell me who is actually in control of coding the site systems or anything about it?
Edit:
Or about you goal for the site and where you see it's focus.
Also since I'm newb here about the history of the site.
(Both of these might be good to write up in a seperate page and link from menu somewhere),

Anyway - allignment error, now with the awesome power of handdrawn pointy arrows.

Well I haven't seen the old designs... but I must say this one looks pretty sweet. Good work!

(P.S.: found this site from the ETQW community forums)

That fixed it, except I think it broke something else (or I blindly didn't notice it before)
