As some of you are probably aware, I just bought myself a new computer recently. My first in over five years. So, I've found myself catching up a little.

Civ 4.....the reason I started playing Quake 3 again and then disappeared for 5 months. You know a game is addictive when the programmers take the time to build in an alarm clock.

Doom 3. Started in September, played then didn't play, played a bit more and so on. Finished it thursday. Scariest game for sure. Literally caused my heartrate to skyrocket. All those horror flicks where you ask yourself, what the fuck are you going in to the room with the scary voices for? and this one lets you go in to the room :)

Quake 4. Wow. Absolutely gorgeous. Fun as hell and very familiar feel. INstalled it after finishing Doom 3. Just finished it a half hour ago :) Raven did a good job. Going to have to check out the multiplayer. Any recommendations for servers?

Next, I'm going to play Half Life 2. Never played the first one, but got bored trying to play it first. So, half way through and I'm just going to jump in to 2. Never played Quake 2 single player and enjoyed Quake 4 so why not.

World of Warcraft. nice but I'm too erratic in my gameplay to develop the groups that make those games fun. two month membership ran out, never bothered to get it going again.

It's amazing how much a new computer will make playing these games fun again :)
And by the way, if you have projects, work or school to do, DON'T START A GAME OF CIV 4. :D

Hey phr3ak!!! Well, I hope you're going to get Quake Wars when it comes out and play that with us. It's going to be a blast playing it with the burial-grounds clan :)

I was a little undecided.
Like I said about slyster, I don't play well with others. :)

But, wow, it looks like fun. (Been doing a little reading about it)
Chances are I'll be getting it. :D

Northern Strike? If so, yes. Not too bad... 3 more maps and gives you some more stuff unlock. Nothing too super...

Give Farcry a try. The graphics will amaze you. It will also warm you up for Critech (sp?) which is the sequel due out soon.
