So do I get the same benefits if I order it online? or do I have to go to a store?...anyone? :P

I don't know if you get anything else online. I went to Gamespot today and reserved a copy, and they gave me a DVD case with a poster, two cards with concept art from the game, a registration number so that I could lock in my Screen name (SPYDER), and a coupon that enables me to enter a drawing for a gaming pc featuring EVGA motherboard and two EVGA video cards.

I remember pre-ordering Q4 at EB so I could get the "package" with t-shirt, poster, tin box, etc.
Then when it comes in I got the game in the cardboard box and nothing else. Turns out the "package" was not available in Canada. I was a tad ticked off...heh. Now I'll just be patient and wait it out.

I hope they don't pull something like that on me. The sales girl I talked to today was totally ignorant of what the proceedure was going to be when I told her that I wanted to reserve the "Limited Collector's Edition".

I am sure that if they can find any way to screw me up, they probably will.

It also ticked me off to no end when I went to the EVGA site that is supposed to be available to enter the drawing for the SLI gaming pc that they advertised on a card in the box, and got a 404 error - page not found, and then I had to register on their website to make a complaint - now they have my personal information, and I have nothing to show for it.

Here is an update on my problems with Game Spot and EVGA.
After I registered my complaint on the EVGA web site, I actually got a phone call from a REAL person representing EVGA !
He apologised for the dead link on their site, and thanked me for bringing the problem to their attention!
That kind of response was totally surprising to me, in today's world of automation. I was greatly impressed.

As for Game Spot, I had an email conversation with one of their regional managers, because of my answers to a customer satisfation survey I filled out.
Their first answer to the question was kind of generic, but when I replied to their first email message and explained that they had not answered my question to my satisfaction concerning the reservation of the collectors edition of Quake Wars, they had the manager of the store where I made the reservation call me personally. He indicated that at the present time they have no way in their computer system to reserve anything but the normal release, and that he had verified that at a state wide managers meeting that he had attended.
He did say that he would reserve a copy of the collectors edition as soon as they find out what the sku is for it. Time will tell on this one, but I plan to follow up soon, now that I have his name and cell phone number.
