Some of the faster guitar arps and runs sound very processed, almost to the point it sounds automated in places.
Either seriously shit-hot live gating and compression, or more likely been tweaked by an engineer afterwards.

couple of bits I wondered if it was post-processed the movement at those points had that un-natural fast jerky motion typical of sped up footage.

cool stuff tho

Well, they can do whatever they want in a video.
They use guitar synths as well, so it does sound processed. Duh...

When, Marty Friedman and Jason Becker came up with cacophony, people said: Hax but a few live performances proved otherwise. ;)

Sounds like really cheesey glammed up Dream Theater on crack cocaine. This music is usually great, but they always fuck it up wth the vocals and chorus for some reason, lol. They need to tell the vocalist to shut up and let the real musicians play :D

I think the vocals do lead a "radio pop" type of sound in the song when you least expect it, and when it damages it the most. IMO...

I like some of the dual guitar harmonies, you don't see much of that nowadays.
