Ok, so maybe it’s not entirely back, but I wanted to at least resurrect the website a little bit. I have no real goals in mind, other then returning a face to the domain. I’ve found a little more free time lately, so I thought it would be fun to bring back a little of the past. Nothing serious, just some old school gaming related content. Perhaps a burial-grounds community and Quake series archive of sorts. I have very little game plan or direction at this point, I just know I want to do something!
Expect to see a lot of updates happening in a very short period of time. I’ve been tweaking this WordPress theme over the last 2 days, and I have a few ideas for my first couple of updates. After that, I’m just going to play it by ear. If nothing else, I hope I can archive what I consider one of the greatest gaming era’s of all time. Including the FPS genre, more specifically id’s great Quake 3 game, and the place where it all went down…right here at the burial-grounds! (well, our small part anyway)
Oh, BTW, if you’re simply looking for the forums, you can find them RIGHT HERE! They will be moved shortly, but for now they are still active in the old location.

The site looks great, and brings back some fond memories of the “old days” on the BG Q2 and then the Q3 server. Thanks for those memories and for maintaining this site in one form or another over the years.
Thanks man! Even after all these years, I still really love doing this, and I am at awe at how many of the “old-timers” are still around today. Digging through my back up folders and finding all the memories from years past was so damn cool. I’ll be posting more and more of the stuff here over the next few days. I think you will be surprised at some of the things I still have.
Very cool chaos! heard that burial-grounds was back upso I had to check it out! lots of memories and the site looks good!
You might be interested to know that StormShadow is still creating Quake 3/Quakelive maps. Appearing on the website as recent as last month. This I discovered just by visiting the Lvl website. http://lvlworld.com . Still a great resource for maps and mappers. Irony is, it’s a great place to test download speed as the proprietors as well as Hex / Mile High Gaming are still giving up bandwidth and hosting all of these maps.
